UES SIGNAGE DISPLAY INSTRUCTIONS

Placement of Interior Signs

Here is where you will need to carefully assess your location to determine the best placement for the wall and door signs. In most cases, IdentoGO Centers are co-located within other businesses. Consider what your fingerprinting customers first see when entering your location and how to direct them to where they need to go. Use the wall signs over or across the front of a welcome or reception desk, for instance, or use the signs to indicate directions to a doorway or hallway if applicants are required to sign-in somewhere other than the reception area.

If you have a single fingerprinting station in your office, a sign should be placed over the work station. If applicants must pass through a door to reach the fingerprinting area, place the sign on the door. Again, we offer multiple sizes for you to use depending on the space available. Bigger is generally better to help your customers find you and know where they need to go, but you do not need to use all of the signs. Use your best judgment. Also, consider where the arrow points in the logo and use this to guide your customers whenever possible. It is not essential to use the arrow as a pointer, but it can be useful when positioned properly.

FOAM BOARD SIGNS (hanger prongs included)

  1. Pierce the paper-laminated surface on the back of the foam board with the hanger prongs at a narrow upward angle. With gentle pressure behind the prongs, insert them into the foam center, maintaining the same angle. Use care with thin boards not to puncture the front of the board. Use two or more hangers for larger pieces, or to help keep the piece level.

  2. When prongs are inserted, press and rotate the base of the hanger until it is flush with the foam board surface. This motion locks the hanger into the board.

  3. Apply pressure to the base of the hanger and carefully bend the top of the hanger outward to allow enough space between the top of the hanger and the board, for placing the hanger over a Moore picture hanger or nail.

  4. To remove, gently press downward on the top of the hanger to unlock it, and rotate the prongs out of the foam board.

DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE

  1. Use supplied screws to attach t-bracket to wall with long side oriented vertically.

  2. Place directional sign in slotted part of bracket and hold in place with horizontal screw.

Placement of Decals

Many locations have glass windows that customers see when coming to our Centers, both along exterior walls and inside building complexes, these decals make it easy for customers to find you when you place them in the most visible place. For exterior windows, make sure the IdentoGO Center decal is placed high enough in the window for people to see when driving or walking by. You have several sizes to choose from depending on the amount of available space. Bigger is better unless there isn’t enough room. Please keep in mind that you are not required to use every sign provided. Use your best judgement as to which size works best for your space.

The Fingerprinting Services sign should be placed directly underneath the IdentoGO Center sign. This calls immediate attention to the nature of the services performed at your IdentoGO Center. Many applicants arrive at IdentoGO Centers specically for printing, but may not be aware of the service center or company name. By using both the IdentoGO Center and Fingerprinting Services signs in conjunction with one another, your remove the confusion your applicants may experience and ensure them they are in the right place.

The decal material is reversible and can be used on the inside or outside of a window. It is also reusable. Please note some important guidelines and information provided below:

STATIC CLING WINDOW DECALS

The decal material is reversible and can be used on the inside or outside of a window. It is also reusable. Please note some important guidelines and information provided below:

  1. Ensure that the surface where the decal is to be applied is clean. Any dirt or residue will affect the static charge that holds the cling in place.

  2. After application, gently smooth out any bubbles and make sure the edges are secure.

  3. Storage should be at or as close to room temperature as possible.

  4. Do not store static clings without a separator between them. The backing that they come on should serve well for this.

  5. Static cling decals can be removed and reapplied whenever needed.

HOURS OF OPERATION

  1. Use provided dry erase marker to write in hours of operation.

  2. Hang suction cup on inside of glass door/window and attach sign facing outward so it is viewable to customers.

  3. To move placement, pull small tab on suction cup to remove from glass.
